My uncle has an Asus Essentio CM6730 with Windows 8. His hard drive quit and I replaced it with a new blank one (same size). I booted to the recovery media (USB flash drive) and did a PC reset to install the factory image to the new hard drive. It went through the reset process and when it reached 100%, it restarted and booted back into the recovery menu. In the menu, there wasn't an option to continue to boot to Windows 8. So I took the flash drive out, restarted the computer, and tried to make it boot to the hard drive but it gave me an error message telling me to insert boot media. Then, I booted back into the recovery program and clicked on the option to diagnose and repair the windows 8 installation but it couldn't find the problem. So, I did another reset and it STILL won't work correctly. Any suggestions?
