STEP TWO:
Lenovo UEFI firmware (BIOS) settings.
- Exit; OS Optimized Defaults:
Win8 64bit (default is Other OS)
- Boot; Boot Mode:
UEFI (default is Legacy Support)
- Security; Secure Boot:
Enabled
STEP THREE:
You do not need to change the boot order of drives in your UEFI firmware (BIOS) settings.
- Connect your Windows 8.1/10 USB flash drive (
Note: FAT32 file system) or insert your Windows 8.1/10 DVD.
- Shut down your laptop.
- Find the small NOVO button on left side of your laptop near the power cord point.
- Press the NOVO button. The system loads boot options.
- Select the BOOT MENU option.
- Select your USB/DVD from the boot menu.
- (If you boot from DVD): Press a key when you see "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD".
STEP FOUR:
On the
Where do you want to install Windows? screen, you'll need to delete all of the partitions. Select a partition and click on the "Delete" option for each partition.
