i just got error code 0xc000000f , says bad boot sector.it cant repair from disc, and a reinstall won't work.the hard drive is spinning and no strange noises from am pc.am i knackered.lol

Disable Secure/Fast boot form BIOS if it helps any. You may also wish to perform a hard disk test from the BIOS.
