Today i wanted to do a clean install on a clients machine but when going through set up i was asked for the product Key!! so i call HP and they said i need to buy Recovery Disks, So i just used the Recovery partition to Reset the PC to Factory Defaults.. Has anybody had this happen to them before?? Now on system it said Windows 8.1 bing/ big edition So I'm Thinking that was the reason because my Iso are only plain Windows 8.1???

Yes, I do believe you are correct. The "with Bing" is a special edition. You need that special ISO/install media to be able to use that OEM key. There was another thread on this but I can't find it at the moment. That ISO could be hard to find. It's not listed for me on MSDN, and its not an option here, Create installation media for Windows 8.1 - Windows Help.

The Windows 8.1 bing iso is not being offer by Microsoft for some odd reason which it can be an issue for us PC Technicians!! If we need to do a Clean Install!

There are a few versions missing from the Media Creation Tool Download. No Enterprise, Pro VL, or Windows RT. The with Bing version may be hard to find, I think its only sold pre-installed on new PC's. It's wasn't listed on MSDN the last time I looked, not for me anyway.
