"Some files are missing. Your Windows installation media or reovery media will provide these files."
So I've encountered the above message in an attempt to Refresh my laptop. It's an Asus laptop which came pre-installed with Windows 8 that I have updated to Windows 8.1 via the Windows Store several months ago.
How exactly do I acquire said files? I'm quite confused as there are several methods of solving this issue but I'm afraid many of which are for certain systems. I've downloaded called "mediacreationtool.exe" which prompts for a USB drive and states that it would download files, however I am not certain if this will address the issue.
Could anyone point me to the right path?
