Solved Backing up program installation files

There is one application I have installed that no longer is available online. Before I go ahead and reinstall my operating system I was wondering if there was a way to backup the setup file? There is no setup file located in the app folder in Program Files. However, when I went to Add or remove programs I was able to click "change" and it opened up a setup file for the program. Do you know where this file is located so I can back it up?

Thank you so much!

If you downloaded it, it's probably in "Downloads" folder. If it was an archive, you could look in Windows > Temp folder or User > your name > App data or Application data folders. If you remember at least few first letters you could try searching for all files.
