My newest hard drive in my desktop PC is a Seagate 1TB Hybrid Drive.
It has an SSD and Mechanical hard drive, in the same case.
I somehow contracted Ebola of the Hard Drive (boot sector virus) and decided to just wipe the drive and start over.
That is proceeding nicely as I type this. I've not decided on an OS yet, so that's not part of the story.
My question is: "At this point, after an FDISK and DOS Format, is there anything in the solid state memory that should be or even can be 'Flushed' out. ??? And if so, how would I go about it ???
I would appreciate any help.
Thank You,
TechnoMage
