Hello,
I have a desktop computer that's running Windows 8.1 Pro using a multi-activation key that's only been used on that one desktop computer. It's a builder key, so works on a fresh install.
I bought an Asus ROG G750JX that came with Windows 8, and upgraded to Windows 8.1. I'd like to upgrade it to Pro so I can use the BitLocker feature.
I was advised that I needed an upgrade key and the multi-activation key won't work unless I do a fresh install.
Is there a way I can circumvent this because I've got all my apps and what not installed, don't want to do a fresh install
