I've bought a Sony VAIO laptop yesterday and Windows 8 must have installed with faults. The first problem I noticed was no sound. Following the tutorials I found on the audio problems, I discovered the even more serious fault.
The troubleshooter seems to be missing, the computer also does not respond when I click on "Change PC settings". I found manually the "Refresh your PC without affecting your files" option - but again, the computer does not respond at all when I click it. It responds to almost nothing when accessing the start menu.
Does anyone know another way to reinstall Windows 8 (without a CD)? Are there any commands?
