Hello,

Ive just built my friend a new system: Intel 4590
Gigabyte R9 280x
Asrock z97m Pro4
Gskill 8gb ram
Samsung 840 250gb SSD
etc, etc

When I try to install windows it will fail at 0% of copying files if I go into it unpartitioned, and if I try make new partition, format etc, it will also fail, spitting Error code 0x80070057 at me both times. I have tried updating Mobo bios, disconnecting all other sata drives, installing via USB drive instead of the Dvd, seriously at a loss. The thing is, I tried to install Linux Mint just to see if it was an SSD error, or a windows error, and it installed perfectly fine.

If I rip the SSD out and install in another of my existing system it installs windows fine, it can be formatted with ease, gparted etc will work with it. It must be something with the new system :/

The Windows media seems to be non-corrupted and working fine, but the SSD also seems to be working a-okay. Whelp :/ Any help is appreciated.
