Windows 8 Update Download always 0%

Dear All,

I did a refresh on my laptop, HP PRO BOOK 440 G0.

It was running on windows 8.1, refreshed to windows 8, but now its not updating.

Can someone please help me. ?

I did download the and run WIndowsupdatediagnostic tool, its showing all errors fixed but still the issue is persisting.

How many updates are the there? Trying to update too many at a time can be painfully slow.

Ouch! That many at one time is likely to fail and take a very long time especially if it has to revert changes. Suggest 5 at a time. Would be much quicker in the long run.

Running one at a time still the same

Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter again:
Troubleshoot problems with installing updates - Windows Help

Windows key + X , select Command Prompt (Admin) and type sfc /scannow prompt, if it fixes all your system file corruption try to install the updates.
