Problems with recovery partition in ASUS with Windows 8

I have some problems with my laptop ASUS K55VD. I had windows 8, but with the store of windows I have updated to windows 8.1.

I have tried to use the recovery partition, but every time I try appears a message. Failed to reset your computer. A partition of unity necessary is missing.
WP_20140805_16_29_59_Pro.jpgFor that reason I have looking for some information, and with CMD commands like "diskpart". I have noticed that I have 8 volumen.
diskpart.jpg
And in Computer Management appears this.
administracion%u00252Bde%2Bequipos.jpg
Then googling recommend to use EaseUS Partition, and some many things change. In the beginning, I had the same 3 partions in red and I don't know what happened.
easus.jpg
But in diskpart change too, and I only have 4 volume, and it have dissapeared the recovery partition, and I don't know why?
diskpart_1.jpg
Before to use EaseUS partition I have created a USB booteable with 9.79gb, and I had this:
usb.png
But, in this days I have tried to create the USB booteable again, but I can't. And everytime I have tried to run the usb, appears to select the language, the keyboard, and then appears the same windows with troubleshoting and turn off (it returns at the previous windows in blue)

So I have tried to apply the recovery partition, but I have the same problems,... the unit necessary is missing...
For that, I don'w know what to do...
Help.

If your recovery usb is 8.0, it won't let you Refresh now you have 8.1 installed.

It should let you Reset, though.

Perhaps it means a partition is missing?

Are you booting from the usb stick?

Probably better to get 8.1 installation media. Boot it up and do a Refresh/clean install.

I don't know if they are missing, but appears in easeus, but not in diskpart. I've been booting fron the usb, and it was created after the problem as the Picture 2 , not at the beginning.

Well, the laptop came with Windows 8, but then I updated to Windows 8.1 through the store. Therefore, this is the second time that I tried to do, but this time it doesn't work. The first time was possible to do it, I had Windows 8.1 through the store but now I hace that problem.
I have been following this page, it looks like my problem: http://www.eightforums.com/installation-setup/39197-unable-use-built-asus-recovery-partition-2.html
But I cant find the dropbox files. I found a dropbox that has bin, geek only, and run me as adminv16.
My laptop is from 64bits

The next time you use Diskpart, instead of checking the volumes, select the Disk and then list the partitions. If you have used EaseUS, you probably have the OEM partitions mentioned in that same thread.

Diskpart

sel dis 0

list par

This assumes you only have one hard drive, which would be disk 0

@genet.

Looks ok. I expect the sources\recovery contains winre.wim, possibly renamed to boot.wim

@thisangels

You can try this, it will only work if it can find winre.wim on your hard drive. Worth a try.

Rt click it > properties>unblock>apply>ok.

Then unzip it directly onto your drive. You should have C:\REv20

Rt click and run as admin on the runmeasadmin file inside.

Thanks, I'm going to try. With v16 appears a winre.wim of 238mb, although in hide partition I have found an install.wim of 9.55gb. Does it work?

Looks like it can find winre.

That is thw beginning, it should go on to create an .iso file.

Burn the iso to cd/dvd OR put on usb with rufus, OR boot the ISO\Sources\8x64winre.wim file directly from the HD (if you know how to do that).

There are tools in it which you can use to apply the contents of the wim or .swm or .esd to your drive.

If you have install.wim, winntsetup is probably easiest to use.

Make sure you select the image you want:

Tick the drive letter preassignment box, and select C :

Well, I have the same... When I run appears some files: a winRE.wim of 233mb.
winre.jpg
And in the USB recovery made in Sources/recovery/old (and nothing)
recovery.jpg.
With Guru program I can see this in partition 8, what I think is retore unit:
guru.png
But in partition 1 appears this:
guru_2.png
Is it ok?
I've realized that I have some others Recovery Partition units (they are hide) and they are small.

Have a look in REV20\ISO\SOURCES

Pguru screenshots look ok. The install.wim will contain your factory osimage.

It does look a little strange you were having a problem resetting when it appears you had already done that 3 times.

But you never checked your system the way I suggested in post #6. If you are having that problem, you may not be able to work around that situation.

In the earlier link you provided earlier, post #72 looks at the problem. When the partitions are shown as OEM, the third party software can see them, but Windows cannot.

I've checked an this is what I have.

Also when I put reagentc /info... Appears an error 3, I have replaced with some others but I have the same.

This is the file of reagent in my laptop.

I don't know why... The easeus has changed some things:
In picture number 1, with list volume I had Recovery, (volume 4) I didn't know about easeus, but after I used easeus the things change like picture number 2.

The other thread, and a couple of others show these screenshots and suggests how to recover the partitions to a readable state.

Easeus removes the volume information from the partitions so they don't show up in a Volumes listing. You will have to reapply the Partition Type Id to those partitions, or in my case, I had to change them to normal data partitions then reboot and change them back.

The thread linked below also discusses the problem, and there are references for repairing your system on other forums. If you have questions about the procedures, let us know.
