I installed Windows 8 on a USB stick (with the help of WAIK). When I run that, I see nearly 3GB of hardware reserved RAM - total RAM is 6GB. When I run Windows 7 on the same system from my SSD, there are only a few MBs as hardware reserved.
Does anybody have an idea why the USB stick installed Win 8 would make such a big hardware reservation.
