How to install Windows 8 32-bit on Windows 7 64-bit?

Hello all I was about to install Windows 8 32-bit on Windows 7 64-bit and it gave an error... How can I install it I can't install it... please help...

Are you upgrading or doing clean install ? Clean install should be OK, upgrade is not possible.

What is the difference between an upgrade and clean install? Well, I was installing the setup from a usb drive without booting from it... Thats all I know, but thanks...

When going from Win 7 to Win8 (8.1) with option to keep Win7 settings and files, that is upgrading. If you are trying to install (upgrade) from within Win7 from windows8 files on the USB it will not work because of 32 bit W8 to 64bit win7. if it's same bit version or from 64 bit to 32bit, it should work but like this, no. You'll have to make bootable USB, boot from it and than clean install Win8. Needless to say, save data first as it will all be gone.
