Your system does not seem to be recognizing any hard drives. Could you give a brief description of your system? Does the drive show in the Bios? Can you reseat any connections?

I had two operating systems, and the first I dropped one and then the other. I only have about 2GB of RAM, and I can not remember the other configurations. I see it, here is a picture if it looks. No, I do not know how?

Nothing in your attachment shows the Hard Drive as installed. It does show your first boot priority is the Notebook Upgrade Bay, so you may want to check that.

If you had a page somewhere that described the SATA controller configurations, the drive should be listed there.

Well, the second attachment certainly seems to contain some pertinent information. If the Test is showing the hard drive has failed, it might be time to look for Warranty service, or if not in warranty, replace the drive yourself.

If a drive is starting to go bad and the SMART check marks it as bad...... probably not going to get it back, but someone else may know of a way.

You may be able to use the drive in another system, or in an external enclosure if you need to get data off it.
