Problems installing the Samsung Series 7 Tablet Accelerometer drivers

Update (March 10) - This seems to be a problem others have had, but no solutions yet. See the Microsoft Forum post...

I have had some difficulty installing the drivers for the automatic rotation function for the Samsung Series 7. It worked fine with the developer preview, but I did a clean install of the Consumer preview, and I am no longer able to install it.

I downloaded the windows 7 drivers (Motion_Sensor_1.7.9.7) and ran using the Windows 7 compatibility. The software appeared to instal, but the device manager shows that it is not working, and the status indicates that Windows cannot load the drivers required.

To make this a bit more mysterious, I can't uninstall the drivers since the uninstall program kicks off an error that the program cannot run because it is awaiting a reboot. I have rebooted several times, but this does not appear to be a real issue.

My question is if anyone has encountered this sort of trouble, and what work-arounds might have worked. The other question is whether there is a particular registry entry to look for to unlock the 'waiting for reboot' issue?

Thanks for any help!
