Hi Guys.

This is my first post and I hope its in the right section.

Today, I followed an excellent tutorial by Brink which showed me how to get the refresh back on my windows 8.1 laptop.

I reinstalled windows 8 yesterday, made a recovery drive of 30gb and did a system image and behold my pc will now refresh back to that snapshot. Amazing, thank you Brink.

I plan on selling my laptop soon and would like both of the recovery options to work. I have a full windows 8 disc and following another thread, extracted the install.wim and put in a EFI folder in c: with the following elevated command prompt. reagentc.exe /setosimage /path C:\EFI /target c:\Windows /Index 1. Well, it didn't work and it also took away my refresh ability.

I learned how to reset the image in my recovery drive back to default with the following command :recimg /setcurrent X:\refreshimage so my refresh works again

My question: is it possible to have both these options working at the same time?

And if it is possible, can you put that EFI folder with the install.wim into my recovery drive along with my refresh image. as appose to putting it on the c drive. My recovery x: drive a c: drive are both on the same physical disk.

Your time and effort is greatly appreciated.
