Hello all,
The day the Windows 8 consumer preview came out I installed Windows 8 on a 40GB partition, dual-boot setup with my current Windows 7. Everything was peachy, until Windows 8 started to run slowly and I discovered I'd installed some incompatible programs and drivers. So I used Windows 8's Refresh tool and the original USB drive to refresh the Windows 8 installation, and everything was peachy.
When it was done, it booted into Windows 8 and I saw that my Win7 partition (D) was still there, so I figured everything was fine and peachy. Except, now when I boot up I have no Windows 7 option whatsoever. It doesn't even show as a bootable drive.
I still have the files, so it's not an urgent crisis, but I'd rather get off beta, unsupported software ASAP and get Win7 back for my day-to-day use. How can I do this? A clean install of Windows 7 is NOT an option for me unless it's the single only way forward.
