Boot the Windows 8.1 DVD/USB disk or Repair USB disk.
http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2269-system-recovery-options-boot-windows-8-a.html
Open> command prompt.

Use the Rebuild BCD in this tutorial:
Use Bootrec.exe in the Windows RE to troubleshoot startup issues

I'm having problems with my Win 8.1 64bit since yesterday and I have been reading and trying everything I know about rebooting.
I also burnd a DVD with 8.1, but somehow LG cd/dvd drive is not reading it. So, I will go shopping for some new DVD tomorrow.

Refresh your PC (Troubleshoot) = nothing happens when I do this.
Reset your PC (Troubleshoot)= is not able to reset my pc.

System Restore (Advanced options) = I don't have a restore set point or not actived.

System Image Recovery (Advanced options) = I don't have a System Image.

Automatic Repair (Advanced options) = It was not able to repair automatic.

Command Prompt (Advanced options) = I CAN come to the command prompts, BUT I DON'T KNOW which command to USE.

I will wait here for some answer!!!

Thanks Roomies

Why NOT?

As the MSI / P67A-C43 has a UEFI/BIOS firmware, boot the DVD/USB in UEFI mode.

Hi Theog

I don't have those options on my MSI bios. I just tried.

it reads :: UEFI boot drive BBS priorities, 1st Boot [Built-in EFI Sheell]

and nothing more.

6th boot.

NO, looks like you downgrade BIOS setup to Legacy.

Make sure that the OS HDD is first boot.

YES, I know that my LG drive is not reading my DVD-OS.
NO, looks like you downgrade BIOS setup to Legacy. == Can I change it to EUFI? what ever is quicker for now.

I just moved 8.1 ISO to a USB stick to try to boot it from there. Just moving it will DO??

I moved to OS HDD to 1st boot as suggested.

You can not MOVE a ISO to a USB, will not be bootable.

http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/15458-uefi-bootable-usb-flash-drive-create-windows.html[/QUOTE]

I'm creating my UEFI-bootable USB flash drive with RUFUS as suggested. ( just to be clear ) But I don't want to do a clean install. I just want to use win 8.1 USB to make my all repairs necessary for my WIN to come back to LIFE. just for info.

Thank you very much Theog and I will be here till the end.

Its taking long even with 8GB rams !!

OK, USB is ready and I just tried to repaired my PC with it. And I don't move forward or is not doing the job right.
I tried all the advanced options from the USB and I'm not able to apply any of of the following.
1.System Restore--don't have a set-point.
2.System Image Recovery -- I don't have one....very sad.
3.Start-up-repair --does a diagnostic and brings me back to options (shut down or advanced options ) I click on advanced options to bring me back to troubleshot.

The only options again is command--which I could if I knew what to tip in.

Thanks and I'm sure tomorrow I will have it running. Is late and I'm going to called it a night.

Any other solution would be highly appreciated.
