what to choose among these options during installation?

During installation it asks for
Choose what to keep
*keep windows settings personal files and applications
*keep personal files only
*nothing
I want to delete my current windows version(windows 7) and install windows 8.1 over that(in C drive). But I don't want to delete anything from other partitions (D and E), those contain important data.
I think third option nothing is correct for me. Will this option delete other drives data or not?

What do you want to do upgrade from windows 7 to 8.1. or a clean install of 8.1.?
