Solved Where will Windows 8 Install?

Hello all, and thanks in advance

I have windows 7 installed on a 500GB HDD, which is nearly full. I'd like to install Windows 8.1 on a new 1TB hybrid HDD, and have the setup of windows 8.1 open, but I have got to the 'Ready to Install' screen without it asking me where to install (I've double checked, it definitely doesn't ask or say). My 2nd HDD is nearly empty, but it has roughly 75GB of games etc that i'd like to keep. I would prefer to install through windows 7 than through boot too, and I have an 80GB unallocated partition for windows 8.1.

SO, questions are:

1. How do I choose/where will windows 8 install?
2. Will it wipe my data?

1) Boot the DVD, choose where you will windows 8.1 install



2) Always backup, backup, backup.
