I'm trying to install Windows 8 x64 without the developer tools. I am booting from the DVD, setup starts, and when given the choice of "Upgrade" or "Custom," I click "Custom" and immediately get an error message dialog that says to Verify that the installation sources are accessible. Then restart the installation. Error 0xE0000100"
I verified the checksums after downloading, and I've burned three discs, thinking it was a bad disc, but the problem persists.

In earlier Windows versions this error was in connection with partition problems.
For Windows 8 (DP and betas) it is best to use installation to VHD (only a small degradation for disk access, everything else is the same).
