Windows 8 dual booting question

Hello,

I have a 2nd unused SSD that I would like to install Windows 8 on to. I already have Windows 7 on another SSD.

Is it as simple as fresh installing as normal on to the other unused SSD? then I can have a choice to dual boot to Windows 8 instead??

TIP:
unplug the drive with 7 on it, install 2nd drive, install windows 8, once done turn off PC, reconnect drive with windows 7 and start up PC, use the F12 key to choose what drive to boot from...

Otherwise it will stick all of the system boot files for 8/x onto the drive with 7 on it.
