Solved ASUS computer

When trying to upgrade my ASUS windows 8 computer to 8.1 it says ASUS AI charger plus is not compatible with Windows 8.1 please uninstall it. I tried to uninstall it via add/remove programs and it would not uninstall so I used REVO uninstaller and that worked, but Windows still says please uninstall ASUS AI charger plus. What do I do now?

Use registry editor carefully.

There are no registry entries to delete or program files to delete so I don't know why Windows installation says it is there. Any other suggestions?

I have a Asus system board and downloaded new drivers and bios for win 8.1
I found a easy to use, non installing program called AUTORUNS that allows you to easily see what's running and delete it.

Is there an option in the bios to enable/disable the charger? I believe it is in the USB area, but I do not remember for sure. If it were disabled, possibly the utility could be uninstalled.

Click ctrl+alt+dlt. Click task manager. Go to startup tab. Right click on AiChargerPlus MFC Application. Click on open file location. The top icon should be the AI Charger Application, delete it. Viola.
