worked exactly as "It said on the tin".

Ran the .exe file from the ISO (using the virtual mounter system in W8.1 (W8 has this too).

Gave me the option to keep applications and settings (Didn't on RTM).

Installed fine -- you need to DISCONNECT from the Internet at Ms account prompt and press back button - continues with local account - re-connect internet.

To activate Windows enter your product key from TechNet - the RTM one works - don't waste retrieve another key - especially as the RTM one is valid.

Re-boot after activation to get rid of watermark.

Working perfectly -- except the IE11 back navigation - that still hasn't been fixed - I posted on that in the browsers section.

12 mins for entire install (using SSD though !!) -- up and running again - no driver issues at all this time.
