Hello everybody!

Before instrallation Win 8, I have the following configuration:
Windows 7 Professional AMD64 on C:\ and Ubuntu AMD64 11.04 Natty Narwhal with properly workin GRUB (Linux boot manager).

I installed Windows 8 on VHD placed on D:\VHD\DyskWirtualny.vhd

After instalation (in Computer Management > Disc Management):
- VHD is a "C:\" drive (was "E:\" drive)
- my Windows 7 system (startup) partition is a "D:\" drive (was "C:\")
- my second partition (on which I created VHD) is "E:\" drive (was "D:\")
and I haven't any boot manager.

What can I do to manager working properly?
I know that Linux does not support vhd, so BM can be without Ubuntu ;)

Can You help me?

I cant help you with the GRUB thing, but I know that Windows Vista,7 and 8 always make c:\ the OS partition. If you dont care about Ubuntu, I'd sugest you to use EasyBCD 2.1 to repair the boot settings.
Hope it helps, but I'm sure that some expert here will help you better than me.

When I was using Win8DP, I discovered that choosing Win7 as the default OS (from the Win8 selection screen) returned me to the "traditional" Win7 boot selection screen -- which also included Ubuntu.

But ... I had used EasyBCD to boot Ubuntu, as I did not want to mess with the Win7 MBR.
