Windows 8.1 brick?

I downloaded the Windows 8.1 preview from the store, and it was updating (fish logo + update % below it). At the end of the update, it did a blue screen and then my screen went black. Now when I turn on my computer, my screen just goes black. The BIOS screen pops up for 0.1 seconds and makes it impossible for me to hit Del at the right time. The one time I spammed Del while waiting for the BIOS screen, my screen just went green. What's going on?

Edit: While typing up this thread, 10 minutes after booting up my desktop and leaving it at the black screen, it finally boots to a blue Recovery screen where my choices are Try Again, Startup Settings or Different operating system, none of which do anything.

You can use Reset to recovery to factory setting.
