Help - Mouse

Please forgive my ignorance but I just received my new computer and it's a touch screen -- I want to use my wireles mouse and keyboard - I plugged the device in the USB port and it does not work - is there a setting I need to go to to enable a wireless - I tried the mouse that came with the computer and it will not work either -- forgive my ignorane on this - thank you in advance!!!

You need to install the driver(s) and the software for them. What's the make/model of the wireless keyboard/mouse?

Sounds like you may have faulty USB ports, as the mouse that came with the computer would need no drivers to be installed.

The OP said he wanted to use his wirless mouse/keyboard. To my knowledge, you need drivers for wireless keyboard/mouse devices, whether they be generic drivers provided by the OS or from the supplied vendors website download section. As I suspect, the OP has a box set from a particular manufacturer, which is why they're not working as plug and play devices.
