    Theog it isn't the EUFI BIOS so I suppose it is the legacy type like the pic.??

    The board is a Gigabyte GA-H67MA-D2H-B3 if my memory is correct. To be honest I don't mind installing over the 7 as it keeps my settings if I do the 8 on it's own means I have to go through all that stuff again and it is going to take up nearly as much space I would assume.

Games folders: Root drive (SSD) vs. data drive (HDD).
In my opinion, games should be installed in SSD drive in order to benefit the decreased loading times. We would only get HDD speed if the games are installed in HDD drive. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. Thanks.

Windows 8.1 pc bought in 2013 with windows 8 bundled (so no installation DVDs, no activation key communicated). upgraded to windows 8.1 in 2013. I made a recovery USB (system image) on 1st April 2014. If I need to boot on this USB, my PC will be again exactly as it was on 1st April 2014?
