Solved Seem to have lost the plot here

Now I thought there was three month trial ISO of 8 available but all I can find is an upgrade ISO.

I have just got a new HDD for the trial but as I have mentioned I cannot find any way of making a bootable ISO of 8 as I don't want to make a dual boot just try the 8 and then if ok I will get the OEM.

So have I missed something or got my facts wrong somewhere?

Yep I saw that theog and that is where I got stuck in that there four options and not being the sharpest knife in the drawer I don't know which one to pick.


I did see that it was also difficult to get rid of if one didn't want it but surely a clean all would suffice if it came to that I suppose?

I would download the ISO x32 or x64.

Thanks theog just one thing - if I had known what a performance I had to do to get that ISO frankly I wouldn't have bothered.
For the life of me I just cannot reason why to download that ISO I had to create a Microsoft account which would not let me use my hotmail address or indeed my old providers email address to do that.

I had to go create a gmail address for registration and then blow me down Microsoft after two hours of setting that up then informed me my hotmail address would be my login username!!

Now I am definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer but that was an exercise in absolute nonsense, and futility, because now I have an email address I did not want will probably have to cop all of the crap that it will generate or block it.
How come Microsoft has it so screwed up and convoluted is beyond this now mushed up grey matter. Perhaps M$ get a kick back for boosting Googles business?? that would be something eh?

No Microsoft account needed to download ISO's.
