Solved How to install 8.1?

I'm confused. I went to this link
Windows 8.1 Preview - Microsoft Windows

and downloaded the file, ran it, it asked me to reboot so I did. Then what? Everything looks the same. The Windows Store says nothing about 8.1. How did you guys install it?

Did the KB file successfully finish installing like below before you restarted? If so, then it normally takes a few moments before you see the bar to go to the Store. If you don't see it, then open the Store to see if after checking for updates in the Store it may pick up like in OPTION ONE of the tutorial below.

Are you sure that is the right tutorial? It's for Windows 8. I don't see anything in it that says Option one. everything in the store looks exactly like it did before I restart. I can't run the downloaded file again as it says It's already installed.

Oh yeah I don' have anything like that bar. Maybe I need to restart again. I didn't actually restart before I shut down and manually started up. I didn't think there would be a difference.

Ah, that could be why then. Normally when it finishes installing, you would click on restart, then you will see that bar after a moment when Windows finished starting up.
