Hi,
My Samsung laptop will not boot due to missing partition. I do not have any recovery media, and have purchased a new version of windows 8 pro that I would like to install. Would be really grateful for any help - as I haven't been able to get any from the manufacturer.

I made a recovery image iso, however the windows7 boot usb/dvd creator continually tells me to check usb and iso as it could not complete the recovery usb or dvd (have tried both, several times)
I have managed to access the command prompt via the troubleshoot of new windows 8 pro dvd i just burned from the .iso I downloaded, and have had a good crack at researching commands. I've managed to view the drive, and the partitions and their contents, but unsure how to re format from there to install the new version.
Can see the oem and recovery partitions, but don't have a clue on how to format or configure them to do what I need.
Thanks

post two

You can use Windows 8 core or Pro DVD to reinstall Windows 8 core or Pro using the OEM BIOS key.

I have attempted , but no joy. How do I go about restoring windows core, from windows pro n with oem bios key, and how do I get the oem's bios key? also, have bought core version new as well, just in case, so help with instructions on either or both would be awesome. Thank you

Thanks, but how do use this, sorry , bit of a dumb ass, learning as I go. Have run it in my other 2 windows 7 laptops, but pretty sure it only shows their details. Do I try to boot this in problem machine? Thanks for ur time and patience
