HELP!? I dont have a install.wim but i have an install.esd

Hi,
I purchased windows 8 pro from the windows upgrade assistant back in January. I am trying to make a bootable drive and this requires me to have a install.wim but i have a install.esd instead (which i believe is the encrypted version of .wim). Is there any way i could get the install.wim because i need it to install windows 8. I am currently on Windows 7.

You can use the ESD files to make a ISO, DVD, USB Pen drive.

But how can i get the install.wim? All the tutorials i have seen to create a bootable external hard drive require the install.wim for example this is the tutorial i am currently trying to follow Is there an equivalent to Windows To Go for personal use? - Super User (first answer)
