Okay, so ive tried many ways, and Ive finally got stuck with using a VHD.
I have followed countless tutorials, and finally found one. (on this forums somewhere)
I go through all the steps, and it seems like it is working, and then when I boot my system it says this,
"VHD_BOOT_INITIALIZATION_FAILED"

things I have done to try to fix this:

I, and probably most, use the term "dual booting" in the sense that multi-booting and dual booting are described here. Note that this read distinguishes between multi-booting/dual booting and virtualization.

Hi Ronnie and welcome to the Forum.

Why don't you try this. It is easier and it works: http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2899-vmware-player-install-windows-8-a.html
is this dual booting? so I can chose which I want to use, either windows 7 or windows 8?
You can run both systems side by side and switch from one to the other with 1 click.

I run Windows 8 like that all day whilst I am really working in Windows 7. But when I need Windows 8, it takes only 1 click. No reboot and other awful things. See this video and you will understand:
