Use Partition Wizzard

If you have a working PC then download and make a Partition Wizzard boot CD.
then boot from the CD, highlight the second primary partition and change it.
It has a gui interface and is easy to get arround. Just remember to click on "apply" to make the changes.
The "Home Edition" is freeware. Get it here, I've used it more then a few times this past week building a new i7 PC with Win8 and installing a SSD on my i5 pc:sleepy:
Partition Manager Software, partition magic server and server partition software for Windows Server 2000/2003/2008, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP.

You should be able to remove the first two partitions during the install, then put Windows 8 in the unallocated space.

I am assuming there is nothing you know of in the current System Partition you might need and D: is just a data partition.

The original poster didn't want to loose data on his second drive as I under stand it.

Windows 8 will install into just one partition if it's already on the drive and you tell it to just like win 7.

I find doing backups and images easier not having to mess with the system partition.
