Hey anyone who can help feel free to do so:
This is my first post on the windows 8 forums, and I was looking for help with this issue. I downloaded the Microsoft solitaire collection from the windows store, and it will not open. I click on the icon on the start menu, it pops up, and then it just takes me back to the home screen. It happens every time, and so I leave it open in the background hoping that it will eventually get past the start screen, but it never does. I quickly realized that no other apps from the store will open either... They all open for a brief moment and then return me to the start screen.
-I already updated all my drivers, and everything else seems to be running fine once I did that (Other problems disappeared once I updated)
-I already updated all my apps in the Windows Store, and the windows store itself updated when I first started my PC. All of my apps already pre-installed open and work flawlessly.
-I downloaded the Skype App, and it too would not open, so I downloaded the desktop version, but when I opened it, and logged in, the whole system would shut down! Windows said it was a driver error with my network Card driver, however I already have the most up to date driver, and apparently there is not a fix out for this yet, so I don't know if that could also be the problem. Some people say to uninstall and re-install the driver, however it is a lengthy process for that one particular driver, and according to any info I can find it hasn't fixed this desktop Skype issue. So I don't know if it too is stopping my apps from opening. If so it is crippling my system. (Killer e2200 card)
Any help is appreciated!!!
