First of, sorry if this is in the wrong thread or it is answered somewhere else.
What I want to do is create a (some sort of) image for a computer and then push it out to multiple other computers that are same make and model. If was easy to do with Windows 7, just create a System Image, and it could be pushed out fine if it is same make and model.
I just tried this on Windows 8, and it made the computer unbootable. I was worried, but at least needed to try. I noticed it was imaging UEFI and C. I'm still new to UEFI and wondering if the conflict was with this issue as somehow Windows 8 keys are tied to single computers.
Do you think I would be able to image the computers using this Refresh procedure and then linking that Image to a new computer and overriding the OS? Basically, I work as a computer technician and want to be able to set up 1 laptop, then image them across the same make and model so I only have to do it once.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
