    Start Screen Resolution

Hey all, I just installed Win 8 Build 7989 on my Acer W500 tablet. It installed perfectly and seems to work pretty well, other than the OSK occassionally popping up at random and disappearing. My main question is this, is there a minimum resolution required to be able to use the Start Screen?

I was interested in trying it out within a tablet environment, but I can't seem to get it to display the Start Screen. I have the latest AMD chipset/graphic drivers installed and the tablet's max resolution is 1200x800. I seem to remember reading someplace that I might possibly need 1366x768 resolution for the start screen and live tiles to appear. As of right now, when the PC boots up, it goes right into the desktop. I don't see any way to get the Start Screen to show up. Any help would be greatly appreciated to let me know if this is possible to do, or if there is a way to change the settings to make it run on m system. Thanks!

It has nothing to do with screen resolution you need to unlock the features using RedPill. Once you install RedPill you will be able to use the new log in screen.

I have Redpill installed and do have the new logon screen. What I was referring to was the live tiles Start Screen. Is that also enabled via Redpill? Currently I can only access the Windows desktop. Thanks!

How to change screen resolution?
I want to change my resolution to my native screen resolution (1680x1050 60hz) but I don't have that option. instead I have to choose from 800x600, 1024x728, 1280x1024, 1600x1200, and 1920x1440 (at 64hz). How do I change it to my native screen resolution if I don't have the options there?
