Remove everything and reinstall Windows takiing too long?

I've had a few problems with my PC for a few days so I thought just doing a clean-install would do the trick, however, the 'Resetting your PC' (currently at 23%) page has been going slow for about 2 hours now. I've not done this before so I'm not sure how long it should take, but I've been doing some research and it said about 30 minutes without BitLocker.

Is there a problem or is this normal?

Is this a upgrade to Windows 8 or a Acer Preinstalled Windows 8?

It's an upgrade version on my PC, I think that could be the reason. :(

I say not normal especially considering the time an upgrade or a clean install takes--using install media.

Hhmhm.. It's now at 27% so what should I do? Just leave it until it is finished or try and restart my PC?
