I couldn't install because serial problem happen. Although i have a serial i can't enter. Win 8 use embedded serial and so i can't enter another serial.

I assume you do not have any sort of Win8 install medium, e.g., an install disk of any kind?

Oh, I see. At this point, I don't know how to get around the issue without spending some money. I'll look around for a solution.

Hi there
????

You have a legit W8 Pro disk -- or you made one.

What happens when you get into the computers BIOS -- if is says protected Boot then you will have to DISABLE it before another OS will boot whether from an HDD , a USB device or a DVD.

There's NO LANGUAGE LOCK on BIOS'S -- at least I've never heard of one before. The BIOS itself might be non English -- but the options should still be the same.

Also are you trying to do an UPDATE or a NEW installation. -- If you have a legit W8 PRO system perform a brand NEW installation.

I'd steer clear of the "Add features to Windows" option by the online upgrade IF YOU HAVE W8 pro install media. That way you can "de-crapify" all the rubbish that gets installed with a pre-installed store bought computer.

So before spending money check out 1) The BIOS -- UEFI or not and whether secure boot is enabled

2) your W8 Pro -- is it legit -- AFAIK you can't actually get retail physical DVD copies of W8 in stores -- but I could be wrong here. You can certainly download from TechNet if you have a subscription but from a store -- not sure.

Can somebody else please clarify whether W8 pro is available on physical media or even as a downloadable iso from which you can burn a physical disk legally other than from TechNet / MSDN. (I've seen it "out in the wild" but do not use those places Ms has quite good ways of detecting those these days and it could cost you BIG TIME with a jail term a real possibilty).

Cheers
jimbo

Firstly, Thanks for answers.
@jimbo45 it is already legal. Not physical dvd.
I tried both, secure boot enabled or disabled, but doesn't matter.
When i try to new installation with win 8 pro i couldn't enter my serial because it otomatically detect my pc's default key and says it isn't compatible.
