Hello I just installed Windows 8 M1 (6.1.7850.0.winmain_win8m1.100922-1508_x86fre_client-enterprise_en-us.iso) on an Acer Aspire One that I have in addition to my HP and successfully activated it with Build_7850_Activator.exe Version 0.9.2.0 .

The problem is the blank wallpaper desktop and a non Aero theme that keeps coming back every restart. This was happening with Windows 8 from the beginning of the installation and did not go away after activation. This problem was NOT present when Windows 7 was installed on the machine. And the wallpaper and Aero themes are available and work properly until each reboot of the system.

Is there a way to make this go away and fix this issue?

P.S.: I was pleasantly surprised that Windows 8 M1 is fully functioning with close to no lag on maximum visual settings on the Aspire One with only 512 Mb of RAM.

Get used to it, there's nothing you can do!
Since this is still an early build leak, you can't expect that everything works perfectly!

Wait for a Beta build, I'm sure it'll be better!

Windows 7 was also very buggy in pre Beta editions!

This works on a fresh install - don't know if it will now you have mucked around with your installtion - worth a try

Being 32 bit helps a lot.
