I have Win8 Release Preview on my SSD. MSinfor32 shows:
Partition Starting Offset = 32,256
So 32,256 / 4,096 = 7.875, but this should be an integer number.
I want to upgrade to released Win8. How can I do this and get the proper Offset?
This is a desktop computer I built three years ago. I have Windows 7 and Ubuntu on a 500 GB hard disk. My goal is to put the Win8 system stuff on an SSD partition with my user stuff on an HDD (the 500 GB disk) partition. I also want to put a Linux system on a second SSD partition with it's user stuff on another HDD partition.
