This is my first thread so bear with me.

OK so I dual booted Windows 8 with windows 7 by partitioning my Harddrive etc. a few weeks back. The truth is I really like Windows 8 and I want to remove Windows 7 completely, to gain disk space. but when I try to remove Windows 7 from the Boot Menu in the Msconfig I get an error (see Image) when I click save and it just reverts it. I also tried to format the partition that Windows 7 is on (C:\), but I cannot. Is there any way I can safely get rid of Windows 7. As you can also see in the Disk Management window there is also something about the C:\ partition being Primary and Page file, if that is important can you please tell me what to do? I have tried everything I can think of (in my knowledge) I have Searched the Internet and found nothing.

Please Someone Help ME

1) A: & B: are for floppy drives.

2) Your Windows 8 is install to a Logical drive.

3) You can not delete Windows 7 from the Windows 7 desktop.

1) A: & B: are for floppy drives.

So should I Change the drive path and stuff, but I dont see the point as I have no Floppy Drive Slots.

2) Your Windows 8 is install to a Logical drive.

I know, any way to change that so I can continue with the uninstall.

3) You can not delete Windows 7 from the Windows 7 desktop.

I am Using Windows 8 in the Picture, and besides I don't use Windows 7 anymore + I know that.

Thanks for the reply though.
But I am still stuck.

Anyone else got any ideas????

OK, I managed to convert the logical drive into a primary partition using AOMEI Partition Assistant Home edition, now what should I do afterwards???

1) The booted OS needs to be C:.
2) Boot into Windows 7 & change the Windows 8 partition to E:.

3) Than boot in to Windows 8 & delete Windows 7.

Thanks for your help, but I just finished Installing Windows 8 onto the C:\ Partition and now I am transferring all my data from the A:\ Partition to the C:\ partition and then going to delete the D:\ . Thanks for the reply though. :)

Not that it's any use to me now, but when I changed the A:\ partition to the Primary drive using AOMEI Partition Assistant Home edition, I couldn't access the Internet, it was always limited even with Wired. Any Ideas why, so I don't make other mistakes, since I have to do it on my other laptop aswell:rolleyes: (but I will use theog Tutorial.)

Thanks
