it's a 10" netbook.. you can't expect more than 600 lines. You have to reverse to the old OS, or purchase something design for Windows 8

How to change screen resolution?
I want to change my resolution to my native screen resolution (1680x1050 60hz) but I don't have that option. instead I have to choose from 800x600, 1024x728, 1280x1024, 1600x1200, and 1920x1440 (at 64hz). How do I change it to my native screen resolution if I don't have the options there?
