Hiya,

I have a Dell Inpiron 15R SE which came with the 750GB WD HDD. I made an image of the system removed the HDD, Installed SSD and restored the image.

Windows start up fine but there seems to be lots of small problems, The metro App store is not working and there are no Metro Apps in the start menu as well which came with the computer. Its also not letting me refresh the PC, when i try to refresh the PC it says files missing insert disc at start up. I dont have a recovery disk it was just the .wim image file which i have which i restored again and still the same problem.

Need advice ASAP

I just need to get the Windows 8 App store working, is there an installation file which i can use to reinstal it?

We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD.

Did you make the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

Take a look at page 99.

You can order OEM Recovery disks from your OEM manufacturer's website.
