Error on Install

I'm trying to install Win 8 Pro. After a few mins into the beginning of the install, I receive the following error "Windows cannot read the <Productkey> setting from the unattend answer file." Pretty much all the solutions I've come across during a search deal with this error and installing in a VMware environment. I'm not doing that. This is a clean install. Thanks

Not to be rude but pretty much knew that already. The problem is I don't even get to Step 2 based on your link. I don't even see anything about caching of files for install. Just a little bit of the Window's 8 splash screen then error.

Do your have a uEFI/BIOS firmware MOBO?

Yes. I'm using a Asus p8p67 deluxe up to date.

The disc is built from an ISO. The ISO was free Win 8 Pro from my university. Of the ISOs I've gotten from the school, this is the only one that I've run into an error with.

Is the ISO x64?

Are you booting from the uEFI DVD Drive.

Yea, it's 64. I also booted from both (P4 and uEFI) of the drives listing and during both installs I received the error just after the Windows 8 splash screen.

The drive is only 5 days old. Wanted to try lightscribe out so I bought a new drive and the attempt to install prior to these postings was from a second created disk. I'll check out doing the install from a usb. Not thrilled about it considering I have buku disks and few USBs.

I burned the iso on a usb drive and still had the same problem. It something to do with Win 8. I see too many posting during searches. I did rule out my DvD burner. I had no problem get to two different Windows installer splash screens. Just can't get past the error.

Ask your university for a new ISO.
