system rating is not available?

I have windows 8 pro 64-bit installed on my machine....when I look at the system rating it says it is not available....every time I try to run it the message says monitor may flicker.....well mine shuts off and does not come back on until I reboot....I have tried this 6 times with the same result...I have NO problems with the monitor other than this ......any help appreciated

It may be that files are corrupt within the system rating program. Try doing a scannow. A handy new fearture of 8.

Thanks, I will run the scannow but this is a new (today) install on a new ssd drive...I was hoping it was a bug......

Some members are reporting corrupt files after running scannow immediately upon fresh install. Why that may be is either corrupt HD/HHD (file fragments?), install media, or both?

I advise scannow before continuing on to other fix methods in this case.

Still learning myself.
