hello i need someone to help me
i have a pavilion dv6t with 3 partitions C: OS, D: Recovery and E: HP tools

how should i proceed to install windows 8 with this partitions???

& made the Startup Repair CD.

No need to reinstall old Windows install.

Clean the HD Drive, using Step one in this tutorial:

& than Reboot PC to install.

right now i have windows 7, and i want to purchase windows 8 and install it
do you reccomend the clean install or the inplace upgrade?
how do i know if i have UEFI?

Clean install is the best way.

No you do not have uEFI.
