Hey there,
I've tried to find a solution to my problem, but haven't found anything that helps me with my specific situation.
I plan on building a new PC using 1 SSD, and 1 HDD. I have a Windows XP installation disc, and I'd like to use that so I can save some money and upgrade it to Windows 8.
I've seen how to clean install Windows 8 upgrade. I'm wondering how I should go about it. Do I install XP on the HDD, then upgrade and install Win 8 on the SSD -- is that possible? Or can I install Win XP on the SSD, then upgrade to 8 on there?
I'm confused, and would like to see if you guys have a solution.
Update: It looks like even though the XP installation will be 32-bit, I can clean install to 64-bit. If that's incorrect, please let me know.
Thanks.
