Yesterday I tried to install windows 8 from windows 7. While it was installing, my pc restarted and now whenever it restarts it gives me a message saying: "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot process. To install Windows, click OK to restart the computer and then restart the installation.
The question is what should I do to get out of this. Can I revert back to windows 7 and what OS is my computer currently running if any at all? I tried starting in safe mode but it failed because the installation failed. I tried using a windows 7 disc although I'm not sure if it is the correct disc and it doesn't boot. I tried setting it to boot on cdrom only and it always goes back to trying to install windows.
